Question: Do not Anglo Americans dislike the Latino Culture NOT the “race”?

This article highlights how WHITE Hispanics, primarily Cubans, do well if not better than the Anglo-Whites that dominate the US. The labeling of Hispanics as “brown” and “poor”comes as an insult that Anglo-Americans have created because of the poverty of recent immigrants from Central America.
White Hispanics actually constitute a bigger threat to Anglo America because they have successfully shown to Hispanisize Miami with wealth and commerce. Anglo-Americans concentrate on the non-white Hispanics as people of low wages and poor education to insult Hispanics as a whole. They almost force an atmosphere of exclusion based on the different culture and race of Hispanics there. The mestizo and mullato populations there have failed or only made moderate successes because of the isolation.
If you focus on white hispanic you will see that it is not a racial thing they hate but our CULTURE! We’re in the same boat as Italians back then

After reading this comment, I find myself a little insulted but I’m not quite sure why. I’m a hispanic woman. I wouldn’t dare to consider myself as either white or brown hispanic. That’s just a further label to add to ourselves. Not only is being latina, hispanic and then whatever country we’re from enough of a label but then to further confuse it with color. I’m also confused as to what I am then. My father is a olive to dark skinned Puerto Rican while my mother is an extremely fair-skinned Puerto Rican. I came out somewhere in the middle. So what am I? Screw that, sorry. I’m hispanic, latina or whatever the hell else we’re called. Or how about we add tan hispanic for people my skin color. Bu ll sh **! Sorry.
